The lecture deals with issues of political communication with a focus on political campaigns, international politics and public opinion. These include the instruments and the effects of campaigning (posters, commercials, internet, politics PR), the relationships between media coverage and public opinion in the field of international politics. In addition, media effects are studied in the field of political communication. The lecture discusses the theoretical and methodological basics of the research field as well as key empirical results.
