The lecture at first introduces the basics of human behaviour and experience in organizations, such as work motivation and job satisfaction. The lecture covers the most important interpersonal interactions within organizations, such as interactions between employees and managers as well as interactions within a group. At this, organizational psychological theories and findings are discussed. The course covers all levels from the individual to the organisation as a whole. Organizational psychological measures aim for targeted changes of an organization and its employees. This includes the systematic diagnosis (e.g. employee survey) of the psychological processes in an organization (e.g. organisational climate) and a customized deduction of development measures. This methodology is explained in the lecture.
