Contents:

The lecture shall give the students an insight into the world of medicine in order to faciliate the communication between the business-oriented management and the medical staff. An overview of the most common diseases and their treatment in Germany will be given. Furthermore, an introduction into medical professional terminology as well as into the processes of a hospital will be provided. The lecture is supplemented with practical exercises and a guided tour in a hospital.
