After introducing the objective and definition of corporate finance, the lecture ?Investment and Financing? deals with the basics of investment calculation in complete and incomplete markets. Furthermore, it considers valuation of investments and financing instruments under uncertainty and presents the basics of corporate finance. Besides institutional knowledge, it focuses on theoretical aspects of investment and financing.
