The course discusses the most important ethical concepts of moral philosophy (Kants's categorical imperative, discourse ethics, Rawls' theory of justice, and utilitarianism) and relates the insights gained to apsects of theological ethics. Hereby, both biblical and systematic aspects (God and morality; moral realism, phenomenom of evil; metaphysics of theological ethics) are discussed.
