The lecture encompasses an overview of the basics of the topics operations management, supply chain planning and supply chain management. At first, the topics production and supply chain types, modelling and planning are covered. Building on this, concepts of strategic and tactical planning as well as possibilites for the design of production systems and supply chains are illustrated. Within the topic medium-term operative planning, forecasting methods, aggregate production planning and master planning are covered. In addition to this, within the topic of short-term operative planning, concepts of material requirements planning, lot sizing, order release, production scheduling and inventory management are discussed.

The registration for the exam is done via the KVS. Information about the registration period and the exam will be announced in the ILIAS group "Fundamentals of Supply Chain Planning" in time. The lecture is held in German language.
