The exercise session examines core aspects of the lecture using a textbook which discusses and reflects on the main statements of the Christian creed in-depth. The aim of this analysis is to become familiar with the specific systematic approach to core questions of theology as well as to train students how to handle theological texts. Students will practice discussing the core statements of faith as well as their individual point of view in a critical and constructive manner.

The basis of the exercise session is the introduction to the statement of faith or an introduction to the systematic theology, e.g. of Stosch, Klaus (2009): Introduction to the systematic theology, Paderborn: Schoeningh. The texts to be used will be announced in the course.
