Contents:

The lecture aims to provide basic knowledge in the journalism and media. Students will gain an overview of key issues, theoretical basics and current research in journalism. Based on the classification of the journalism in the communication studies the competing for attention in the media society is themed. The work areas of journalists in various media are also highlighted as well as the journalistic functions and genres. In addition selected topics and resorts are considered in greater depth.
