The lecture covers in the first part the basics of electronization of transactions between economic actors. Hereby the theoretical constructs, description models and explanation coherences are introduced. In the second part the focus is on the electronization of procurement processes and supply chains (E-Procurement). Therefore models and methods from information systems research and economics help to describe, explain and design the electronization of procurement processes.
